P11.344	Jefferson Elementary School The South Bentley Avenue Building built in 1911, renamed Jefferson School in 1920, was closed in 1980 and razed. Jefferson Elementary School was yellow brick and had 18 rooms, but only 6 were used for classrooms. It also contained Music room, Nurse's Room Lunch Room, and basement which was used for dances and "Get together" for young people Senior housing apartments are now built on this site. Students living on the south side of Robbins Avenue attended grades K-6.
